Join lead trainer Bruce Chung and guest trainer Rebecca Hajek for The House of Yoga’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and become a certified yoga teacher accredited by the Yoga Alliance.
Our teacher training offers a unique interdisciplinary program ranging from yoga history and philosophy to anatomy, from yoga asana to teaching methodology, from pranayama to meditation. The program further encompasses a diverse array of movement disciplines, thereby building a strong foundation for teaching yoga in an intentional and creative manner.
Moreover, this training will also benefit from the knowledge and expertise of several guest facilitators, who will join the faculty for specific lectures, such as breathwork, hands-on adjustments and the business of yoga, to name a few.
This training welcomes any student who feels called to teach yoga, as well as anyone seeking to deepen their own knowledge and understanding of this practice and ultimately, themselves. The training will be facilitated in English.

ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Bruce
For over 16 years and across four continents, Bruce has dedicated himself to inspiring yogis around the world. From Toronto to Singapore, Hong Kong to Dublin, and Bangkok to Cape Town, his personal practice is as varied as the places he has lived, and he has cultivated a teaching style that reflects his global perspective. Bruce’s thirst for knowledge has led him to acquiring thousands of hours of training from world-renowned teachers like Briohny Smyth, Dice Iida-Klein, Tiffany Cruickshank, and Jason Crandell, to name but a few.
His greatest teachers, however, are the students he’s had the privilege of guiding, which provides ongoing texture and dimension to his continually evolving practice. Bruce believes that the path of yoga is a life-long expedition to self-reflection and realization.
Rebecca
Rebecca is a New Yorker recently transplanted to Lisbon, Portugal who has been studying yoga and meditation for over 25 years. She was a former opera singer who got her Masters in Music at SUNY Purchase and accredits the discipline and understanding of subtlety in her practice to her years of strict training. She followed her love of yoga out of the opera world and into her 200hr training over 14 years ago in NYC and discovered her life’s purpose. Eager to soak up the vast wealth of yogic wisdom in NYC Rebecca explored Ashtanga, Iyengar, Forrest, Hatha, Kundalini, Katonah, Dharma and Bhakti yoga which allowed her to deepen her practice and refine her distinctive style of teaching.
Her 500hr Advanced Teacher Training (ERYT) was completed with her long time mentor Yogi Charu of Saraswati lineage in Hatha yoga and Tantric meditation in 2015. She has since delved more deeply into bhakti yoga – the yoga of devotion and studying yoga philosophy through the Vedic texts and mantra with her teachers Raghunath Cappo and Kausthuba Das. Dedicated to the yogic path Rebecca will always consider herself a student first, and a teacher second. In addition to teaching online and in person with group classes, privates and Kirtans Rebecca leads workshops, teacher trainings and yoga retreats around the globe.
